So many firsts this month....

Katie just turned 10-months old on the 4th. I am taking her "official" 10-month pictures later today. I will post those soon. I finally started her on solids. She is LOVING them!!! :) She has tried Sweet Potatoes, Peas & Apples. She definitely LOVED the Sweet Potatoes & Apples. We still aren't sure if she liked the peas, though. You'll have to let me know what you think after looking at the picture. :) She LOVES to hold the spoons & wants so badly to feed herself. We still need to buy her a High Chair before we let her try that. :) Hopefully we can get one this week.

In the past 3 weeks, Katie has cut her first 3 teeth!!! :) Just a couple of days ago, she got one on the top. Surprisingly, it wasn't a top center tooth, like the first top teeth usually are. It was one next to the center left tooth. If you click on it, you can see it in the picture above the last one that I posted. :) It is so cute.

Katie started saying, "Hiiii!!!" She says it every time anyone enters the room. She also says, "Mama" "Dada" and she tries so hard to say her sisters names. It is adorable. Katie also LOVES to sing! She pours her heart out into her songs, too. Whenever Grandma, or I sing to her, she gets a HUGE smile on her face & she joins in & tries to sing louder than us! :) It's too funny. I think she is trying to drown out our voices. :)

A couple of days ago, Katie started pushing her little activity table across the room & walking behind it!!! :) It was so cute!!! She just looks so tiny walking behind her toy. :) She also started pushing her little toy dump truck, too. ( I will post those photos soon because I still need to take them off the CF card). In the pictures that I just posted, she is wearing tights under her outfit because I couldn't find any matching socks. :) So, if you are wondering what is dragging behind her, it is her tights. :) I love her expression in the last picture. That was taken right after her first stroll across the floor. :) It looks like she is thinking, "WHOA!!! WHAT just happened???" :)

It won't be long now before she is walking. :( My little Baby is getting so big. I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. I am going to cry now. :(

Oh, I almost forgot...We took Katie to her check up & she weighed 16 pounds, 4 ounces. :) She is still in the 5th percentile. Her Pediatrician isn't worried about it at all. :) She said that she is just going to be a tiny girl.
