Last year, we started Khloe in My Father's World's Kindergarten curriculum. She LOVED it!!! During that time, we were going through a difficult pregnancy & I had so many ultrasounds, Midwife appointments & Perinatologist appointments, so we didn't get very far with it. We just worked on a lesson when we could & all the girls joined in on the fun projects. So, we mainly worked on reading & a little math together. This year, when I told her that she was going to use the 1st Grade program, she got upset & said, "Mom!!! I want to finish Kindergarten!!! Please let me finish it!!! I LOVE Kindergarten!!!" So, we decided to let her finish! :) It is such special one on one time that I was happy to agree! :) As soon as we finish it, she will start the first Grade curriculum. :) We are basically just using the Bible & science themes. Khloe has been reading for awhile now, so we aren't using the phonics section. We have really been enjoying the science themes & all the fun projects that go along with them. :) I love how everything is tied together. The Biblical concepts go so well with the science themes. :) They memorize the Bible Concepts, which Khloe enjoys. :) Here are the lesson Themes:

Khloe made Apple cake in the apple unit. This was a special recipe that we found that belonged to Gigi, the girls' Great-Grandma. :) It was AMAZING!!! :) This is a new family favorite now.

Sadly, the Watson Family moved away before we could all paint the eggs, so I only have photos of the girls' eggs. There were baby dinosaurs inside of these. :)
This is where we left off. :) We actually just finished learning about dinosaurs & are now just starting the Octopus unit. :)

We love these wonderful readers & Khloe thinks it is pretty neat that she is reading the same books that Laura Ingalls-Wilder read when she was a little girl. :)
