Happy Birthday, Kaylee!!!

On April 21, Kaylee celebrated her 15th Birthday! I can't believe how time flies. I, of course got teary eyed as I do at each Birthday. I can still see my sweet, little Baby that I held in my arms 15 years ago. It amazes me how fast the years can fly by. It reminds me to cherish each moment & to take time to enjoy these precious children NOW!!! They grow so fast. (I need to stop because I am making myself cry just thinking about that). :(

We had a fun time celebrating Kaylee's Birthday. :) Her Birthday fell during the week, so on her actual Birthday, Karissa made her a cake. We went to Grandma & Grandpa's house & took some special Birthday pictures. My favorite is the one up above. :) After that, she opened a few gifts. The next night, we invited friends over for dinner, cake & a game of Encore (Our family favorite)! :) We had a great time! :) Here are a few of the pictures:

It's catch-up time!!! :) April 2009

WOW!!! It has been a REALLY long time since I have blogged. I am so sorry. I am glad that I take pictures of pretty much everything so I can remember what we have been up to. :) Maybe I will just do an update in photos. That may be the easiest way to catch up. :)

Let's see, what has happened since Katie's 1st Birthday party back in April?

The Sunday after her party was Easter. We celebrated with an Easter egg hunt at home in the morning and then went to Church in the afternoon. They did a shared meal which was really good. :)

Here a picture of the girls on Easter Morning:

Here they are on the way to Church:

They put in a new park in our neighborhood with a zip line. :) We had to check that out. The girls and I had a great time on the zip line! :) I know I got a bit carried away with the pics. Believe it, or not, these are only a small fraction of the pictures we took that day. We had a great time! :)

Katie's Birthday Party Pics........

We had a small first Birthday party with Both sets of katie's Grandparents. :) It was so nice to get to spend time with all of them. :) Here are some photos from the party last Saturday........

I snapped these as we were getting ready to leave to go to my parents house for the party. :)

The lighting wasn't very good on this one, but I LOVE her sweet smile. :)

The Grandmas on the tractor! :)

Our little sweetie:

Kaylee was trying to get Katie to touch the grass. She wanted NOTHING to do with that. :) It really upset her. She didn't like the feeling of it on her little toes. :)

Here she is giving Kaylee a BIG hug to try to get her to rescue her from the green stuff. :)

Karissa made this cake for Katie. It looked so good. It had chocolate mousse filling and a chocolate cream cheese frosting. The cake was a white cake from Katie's Great-Grandma's old cookbook. I wish I could have tried it, but it wasn't Gluten-Free. :(

Katie wasn't really happy about sitting in her new High Chair. :( She also wasn't too sure about this immense slab of cake sitting in front of her. :)

This picture cracks me up. She sat there staring at all of us with this expression for quite some time. I wish I knew what she was thinking. :)

Here's that serious look again. :)

Getting some help from Big Sister, Karly!!! :)

Look at that sweet face. :)

This is my all time favorite picture from the day! :) She had just took a clump of cake and leaned over and dropped it on the floor, then she gave us that cute, mischievous, little grin. :)

Sorry for all these cake photos. I'm sure you are hoping there aren't more. :( I am SO SORRY to do this to you, but I just have a few more favorites. Can you believe this is only a very small fraction of them? :)

Here she is doing the sign for "All Done." :)

Katie with all of her Grandparents:

Here is Katie opening her presents. :) I love the ones with the card. Isn't it funny how you can give them a present at this age and they seem more excited over the box, the wrapping paper, or the cards? :) Katie hugged the card and carried it around on her head. :) She had fun playing with it in the funniest and most creative ways. :) It cracked me up. :)

Here she is rocking and snuggling the card: :)

Now the card has become a hat. :)

Did I ever tell you how much I love this precious, little miracle??? :)

If you made it all the way to the bottom, you are full of patience. :) Thank you so much for letting me share Katie's Birthday pictures with you. :)

Bye!!! :)
